Hi, I’m Sarah

For me, holistic health forms the roots upon which we grow and experience nature’s finest offerings. With our health optimised and our minds rejuvenated, the world becomes a place to be explored, appreciated, and lived to its fullest.

With a background in nursing and holistic health, I’m big on stripping it back to nature’s basics; unearthing a supportive approach that carefully considers and guides every part of our wellbeing.

How did SV Holistic begin?

My journey started early in my nursing career. With long hours, shift work, and chronic stress - the norm, my health soon plunged - both physically and mentally. Manifesting as loss of my menstrual cycle, skin rashes and a low mood, I was exhausted.

I quickly became curious about how best to optimise my health and happiness, digging deep into the mind-body connection to find the healing my body needed. I became more aware of what I was putting into my body, choosing to opt for wholefoods from NZ instead of processed goods. I changed my work and living environments, surrounded myself with like-minded people, and soon saw drastic changes.

Having studied integrative nutrition, I immersed myself in the holistic approach to health and wellbeing. I soon joined the BePure Holistic Health Clinic, where I was based for four years. A qualified Yin Yoga teacher, I continue to practise ascension meditation and have done so for six years. I’m continually growing, learning and chasing the path of connection to self and stillness. That is, nature itself.

This led me to Sumner, where I’m now lucky enough to live and support others along their journey to holistic health.
